Rules Of Newent Angling Club

NOTE NO KEEPNETS TO BE USED EXCEPT IN MATCHES -SEE RULE 10
Anyone found to be breaking any rules will be banned from the club.
These are deemed to be rules unless a fishery rule states otherwise (at away matches).
ADDITIONAL RULES FOR ALL NEWENT AC MATCHES
1. Only ONE or POLE to be used at any time during matches.
2. Two rods can be used pleasure fishing.
3. NO cupping in whilst using other methods
4. Barbless hooks only. Maximum size 12
5. A minimum of TWO keepnets to be used, one for carp and one for silvers.
6. Carp and Silvers MUST be kept separate at all times.
7.Keep net limit 60lbs, over 60lbs knocked to 60lbs. Over 80lbs net disqualified.
8.Nets must be dry on arrival. All nets MUST be stretched out on bank until 10
minutes before start of match.
9. Boilies cab be used as hook bait but NOT loose feed.
10. NO floating baits.
11. Vehicle parking in designated areas only except if authorised by Match
official or Water Bailiffs.
